Allan Moult has authored numerous articles on herbs for Gardening Australia magazine, Organic Gardening, Basics, and online sites, and is the author and photographer of two bestselling herb publications — The Herbal Garden [ABC Books] and The Gardener’s Guide to Herbs [Federal Publishing].

Most of the herbs photographed for the books and articles he grew in his ‘herbal studio’ — a half-acre herb garden designed with special microclimates to satisfy the needs of the more than 300 different herbs he grew for photography [and the kitchen].
